I started in the real estate industry just out of high school in 1989 with Block Bros. Realty which soon thereafter changed to NRS. Starting out as the receptionist at one of the branches I moved my way up the ladder to conveyancer and was transferred to another location. From there I moved to a more local independent company; Greyfriars Realty, as the receptionist and conveyancer.
In 1993 I decided to get my real estate license and went back to NRS Real Estate where I worked for a short time in sales. Although the real estate industry was busy, I found that having a steady paycheque was worth a lot more, so I took a position as an assistant to Brent Roberts. I worked side by side with Brent for the next 14 years as his personal assistant and helped him build his business up from doing 69 ends per year and one assistant to well over 450 ends and a full service team. He is now the #5 Realtor with Royal LePage Nationally and the #1 Realtor in BC with Royal LePage.
In 2008 I decided that I needed a change of scenery. I love the real estate industry and knew I wanted to keep my foot in it in some way, so after weighing my options Brent and I decided that co-owning a franchise of Dominion Lending Centres was the best option. I haven't looked back!
My 20+ years of real estate experience along with my love of numbers has allowed me to do what I truly love - helping people with their mortgage needs!
